  • More than 20 years of global investment banking experience: Banque Paribas, Head of South American Region; built Latin American operations. Credit Suisse First Boston, Director, Northern Europe.
  • Co-founder of 2 leading biofuels companies from 1st and 2nd round financings to partial exit
  • Significant transaction experience in oil&gas industry, including IPO of the Argentine CAPEX / CAPSA Norwegian nationality and currently lives in UK / Argentina.

 

 

Sven Engevik
Associate director

  • Prior to Euro-Latin Capital, contracted for one year to establish an investor relation department in the Argentinean oil company Trefoil (Buenos Aires head office) listed at Oslo Stock Exchange, managed all the routines and procedures to secure compliance with the regulations.
  • More than ten years transaction experience:
    • Senior advisor at Oslo Stock Exchange, responsible for new listings, among others SeaDrill, Aker, Aker Yards, Aker Drilling, Deep Sea Supply, Consafe Offshore, Eastern Drilling.
    • In addition, company responsibility for approx. 30 companies, hereunder Statoil, Aker Group, Pan Fish, Fjord Seafood, SeaDrill (+ Smedvig), Eastern Drilling and inspection of prospectuses and offer documents (share issue etc.).
    • Part of the financial due diligence team at PricewaterhouseCoopers Transaction Service and an Analyst at Handelsbanken Securities, Corporate Finance
  • Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and Master of Business and Economics, Norwegian School of Management.

 

 

Bill Wason
Associate director

  • Seven years prior experience in the biodiesel industry as the President of Bio Clean Fuels, which built a 10 million gallon biodiesel plant in Bakersfield, California using its own proprietary continuous flow biodiesel technology
  • Participated in forming a consortium of partners from 5 countries in Europe that are now involved in a Co2 Star biodiesel & efficiency promotion program in conjunction with funding from the EU Commission.
  • President of Sustainable Bio Brazil (www.sustainablebiobrazil.com), started BioPure Fuels (www.biopurefuels.com), in 2005, which is involved in all aspects of vegetable oil feedstock acquisition, biodiesel production, glycerin refining and use and marketing and distribution of biodiesel & efficiency products.

 

 

 

Martin Ink
Associate director

  • In early 2009, Martin founded South Investment Partners, which was specialized in business valuations and analysis of investment projects for economic and financial feasibility.
  • Before this, Martin was responsible for the M&A division at Goyaike (Perez Companc Agribusiness Company) from 2005-2008. In addition, he worked 5 years at Buenos Aires Mergers and Acquisitions (BAM&A) and 3 years at Pricewaterhouse Coppers with focus on company valuations.

 

 

Viviana Maisterra
Senior associate

  • Worked five years at Euro-Latin Capital, currently working at our portfolio investment Patagonia Bioenergía.
  • Five years of private equity experience as Associate at AIG Capital Partners for the Southern Cone Fund, based in Buenos Aires.
  • Participated in the investment process, identification and proposal of investment opportunities, due-diligence processes and transaction closings. Monitoring of some AIG Capital Partners' transactions in Latin America and report to head office in New York.
  • Key transactions closed include:
    • Disco Supermarkets, where AIG Capital Partners integrated a consortium with Cencosud and other private equity funds to acquire Disco Supermarkets chain from Ahold.
    • Easy-Mail, AIG invested to acquire a telecommunication company operating in Argentina and Uruguay
  • Studied Business Administration at University of Buenos Aires.
